NOLA was built for gathering. Long live-edge tables, low pendant light and a wall of windows onto Queen Street East — the room does most of the work before the first course lands.
Whether it is eight people at the back table or the whole restaurant to yourselves, you get the same kitchen, the same wine list and the same team that runs service every night of the week.
No event-menu tax. Your set menu is drawn from the same French-Italian carte we cook nightly — handmade pasta, premium steaks and fresh seafood.

Set menus, built around your table
We will send two or three menu shapes to choose from, drawn from the same kitchen that cooks our nightly service — handmade pasta, premium steaks and fresh seafood, with a starter and a dessert course.
Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and allergy adjustments are handled as part of the menu, not bolted on at the door. Tell us who is coming and we will build around them.

Private dining, answered
How many guests do you need for a private booking?
Groups of eight or more are arranged directly with us rather than through the online booking system. Below that, a normal reservation is usually the easier route — email [email protected] and we will tell you which makes sense for your numbers.
Can we have the whole restaurant?
Yes. Full buyouts of 1161 Queen Street East are available, giving your group the dining room, the front room and the bar with the kitchen working only for your evening. Buyouts are best booked well in advance, particularly in December.
Do we order from the regular menu?
Private groups eat from a set menu drawn from our nightly French-Italian carte — handmade pasta, premium steaks and fresh seafood. We will send two or three menu options to choose from, with per-guest pricing and optional wine pairings.
Can you handle allergies and dietary requirements?
Yes. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and allergy adjustments are built into the menu when we design it, not improvised on the night. Send us what you know when you enquire and update us with final numbers closer to the date.
Can we bring a cake, flowers or decorations?
You are welcome to bring a cake and we will handle the cake service. Flowers and simple decorations are fine too — just let us know in advance so the room is set the way you want it when your guests walk in.
Where are you, and how do guests get there?
We are at 1161 Queen Street East, Toronto, ON M4M 1L3, on the corner in Leslieville. The 501 Queen streetcar stops at the door and runs late, and there is street parking and Green P parking nearby — useful details to pass on with your invitations.
